Well we have had Dobbie for nearly 3 week, he will be 10 weeks old tomorrow. He has had his second injection so is able to go out on walks now. He is due of another injection and his chip next week, I don't think he is gonna like that one!I have also taken part in the Chopsticks to Hairsticks swap. It was great fun, just waiting for my stick to come thru from the USA

We picked our Jack Russell puppy up yesterday. He is tri coloured and 8 weeks old. He is so sweet and well behaved. No accidents in the house so far. Slept through the night and stayed clean. What a star!

Patchwork Bag

I recently made this for a swap on Crafster. My partner has received so I am now safe to post a photo here. This is my first successful attempt at anything involving patchwork.

I have some breast cancer patchwork squares that I want to use, I have an idea for the "Betty" bag in my head, not too sure how it will turn out tho!!!!

Well I have been back at weightwatchers for 6 weeks and I am happy to say that I have lost 8lbs!!! I am very pleased indeed ;-)

Well I had the best weekend ever!!! I spent it with my best mate and we went to see New Kids on the Block on Saturday night. They were excellent, better than the 1991 gigs. I can only say they got better with age.

Well I finally got my Wii fitness age down to 33, which is quite good as that's my age. I started 5 days ago with the shameful age of 71!!!

I have received a fab package from Linda. I LOVE, LOVE LOVE it!!!! Excellent stalking, she saw that I love purple and have a Calorimetry queued on my Ravelry page, so I am now the proud owner of a purple one.

I have lots of chocolate, and hot drinks, stitch markers, purple alpaca, and some great patterns from the Drops website. This has been a brilliant swap, thank you Linda!

I did a swap for a bag on Crafster, I sent the supplies off and some goodies and got the best bag back.

All of the goodies, bag, wristlet and fab magazine.

Well my partner received the goodies I sent her in the week. I forgot to take photos of what I made (as usual) but here it is:
A Freddie Kruger T-shirt, a witches apron, a red trick or treat bag and a pumpkin washcloth with Satsuma soap.

This is the cool stuff that I received;
I received a trick or treat board, a fab pencil case, a corn witch, and some blood! (sweetie of course) and some poison bottles, one with shrunken skull, one with jellyfish stings, an empty one and one with sweets and tricks in.

This was a great swap!!!

On Sunday 14th September I had the insane idea to do a sponsored abseil for Marie Curie Cancer Care. I abseiled 120ft down the Travelodge at the Fort Dunlop in Birmingham. To say I was petrified is an understatement of the highest order!!!! But I did raise £240 for a very worth while cause. I thank all those who sponsored me. Now you can have a laugh at my photos!!! Thanks to my mate Sam for taking them for me, Cheers bud!

I have just been busy and not had the time to update. We went to see Linkin Park at Milton Keynes on their Projekt Revolution tour, let me just say they were absolutely awesome!!! They are as good live as they are on CD. We go really sun burnt and I fell really ill at one point but I was a great day.

Last weekend we went to BugJam 22 at Santa Pod Raceway. It was a brilliant weekend full of sexy VW Bugs and Buses!!! We had a few bouts of rain but nothing to spoil it. Visit www.bugjam.co.uk for a full report.

I have just finished my first lace project, only a simple lace shawl. Its made with 4ply sock yarn in my fave colour PURPLE!!!!!

Its only a simple project as I am not that good at lace but i am happy with it.

I have received all of my swap goodies this week. 1st my Little Visitor, his name is Tad and will be spending few weeks with us before going back home.
Next we have my mug swap, I had a cosy and mug, some earrings and a lovely book mark and some interesting teas.Next is my Adult sap, a very funny sap to take part in! I received a crochet sex toy cosy, penis soap, a gift box and some brilliant sex cards.
Last but not least is my Farmers Market swap. I had a beautiful knitted shopping bag and some produce bags both in my favorite colour PURPLE. Some wool for me to dye and some tint fridge magnets that are on my fridge!
A very good haul indeed!

I made a crochet hook roll, smiley coaster, bracelet and some Lego Skeleton earring which she hd on her wists lists. I also sent a heart decorated mug. She really liked them!

Well my latest swaps are ready to go. I have my "Stuff an Easter Basket" goodies which are, a egg cosy beanie, a shopping tote, earrings, daffodil coaster and stitch markers. I have also sent a beginner tatting kit, disco duck, bag of mini eggs, cadbury's creme egg and a galaxy egg. The will be going of to the USA tomorrow.

New Kids on the Block are back!!!! YES! I have been waiting 17 years to hear the news. I was sooooo in love with Donnie Whalberg when I was 14. Me and my friend Vicky loved them to bits and managed to see them twice at the NEC in Birmingham. I don't care how far we have to travel to see them but if they come to the UK we WILL see them!
