Dishcloth Swap 2

This is what I have had in the second dishcloth swap. Its the Double Flower Cloth, 2 bars of Green and Blacks chocolate and some lovely Lavender soap from Lush!!!!

Fetchings Finished!!

I have finished my other Fetching glove. The pattern is available on http://www.knitty.com/ in the archive. They were very quick to knit. I think you could knit up a pair in a day. They will be definitely going on the Christmas knits list!

Sockapolooza 4

I took part in the Sockapolooza 4 sock swap. I recieved a lovley pair of socks from Jet Lee in the US. She sent me Boot socks, a note pad, hand cream, lovley sock yarn and a sheep keyring. I was great to take part and I am already looking forward to Sockapolooza 5!!

Knitting Projects

I am currently knitting a pair of Fetcgings form http://www.knitty.com/ I finished one last night and will cast on for the other tonight. I am loving this pattern. Its my first pattern with cables and it is realtivly simple, well it must be for me to be able to do it!!!

Hello!!!

My name is Samantha; but I am a Sam, too much of a tomboy!!!

I live in the village of Polesworth in Satffordshire in the UK. I am married to Andrew and we have a little (well not so little) boy called Benjamin who is 8.

My interest are knitting, astronomy, card making and VW Beetles!

I have been knitting on and off since my nan taught me as a child but I really got into it about 18 months ago. I have knit several pairs of socks and hats. My recently finished off items are for my friend for Christmas and are a hat, scarf and a facecloth.

I have only just got into astronomy after staring at the stars for years. I have a Celestron EQ 114 Short 'scope. I am only just getting into it and still learning the basics. I have had excellent views of Jupiter and the Moon and have managed to find the Andromeda Galaxy although it was not very clear but I am enjoying the learning process.

I LOVE VW Beetles, although I do not own one. I try to go to Bug Jam at SantaPod Raceway every year. It is definatly an expreience! Although this year with the very heavy rain we had it was a bit of a wash out!!!
